Rev. Xavier Edet, S.S.J.
Fr. Xavier Edet, SSJ, a Josephite Priest and pastor of our Pastorate community. He was born in the city of Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. Xavier is the 9th child of 10 children of Savio and Magdalene Edet. He started his training to become a priest in 2001. He studied Philosophy in the National Missionary Seminary of St. Paul, Gwagwalada, Abuja - Nigeria, and Theology at the Pontifical Faculty of Mary Immaculate; Dominican House of Studies, Washington, DC. He was ordained a Priest on May 19, 2012 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of Immaculate Conception, Washington, DC.
